* Due to a limited number of boats spots will be filled with veterans first, followed by active duty *
( Active duty members will be notified either way on July 8th if they will be fishing with us )

What you need to know for the day of the tournament
What you need to know for the day of the tournament
Please arrive to the boat launch no later than 7am. This will allow us to get you registered with your boat captain and on the water prior to the National Anthem and take off.
Please bring a Michigan Fishing License, appropriate clothing ( rain gear, comfy shoes, suncreen, etc ) , and your own snacks and drinks.
Your SMWC Boat Captain will have all the necessary tackle, poles, bait, and appropriate safety gear.
* Please note that we WILL fish in the rain, but will postpone until the Sunday, July 21st if high winds or thunderstorms *
Take off and weigh in will be held at Conley Point Boat Launch
6:30 am - Captain Registration
7:00 am - Veteran Registraion
7:30 am - National Anthem & Take-off
2:00 pm - Weigh-in
3:30 pm - Fish Fry followed by awards at the Cozy Corners in Barbeau

Owners Ron & Sara Gordon have graciously offered the SMWC space to set up a tent outside at The Cozy Corners bar located just north of the boat launch. We will be providing a fish fry for our veterans and their families after the weigh in along with an awards ceremony.
